this is such an awesome zine. scratch that itch is one of my fave zines, and even though kathleen only gets a new one out approx every three years (as mentioned in zine) it is worth the wait ♥ ♥ ♥ in this issue kathleen writes about staying in a capsule hotel in tokyo (a life long dream thanks to blue peter), draws a comic about PTSD featuring an anthropomorphic set of hairclippers (trigger/content warning for ptsd obvs + suicide) and interviews nathan from ONSIND and Martha. lots of talk about mental health and ‘general positivity but not in a naive way if that makes sense’. there’s also love / hate lists from various friends of kathleen’s including yours truly! i think one of my favourite things about scratch that itch is how Beautiful it is, besides that you know, great content. i just wanna stroke it all day and have its’ beautiful babies. ♥ ♥ ♥ it’s a zine so good it makes you clean the house and then draw a comic about it. oh and it comes with a sticker of buzzcut the hairclippers! what more could you want??
